A cool-down phase helps to reduce heart and breathing rates slowly, letting the body cool off, returning muscles to their optimum length ratio, prevent blood from pooling and get back to baseline. During bouts of exercise heart rate and blood pressure increase followed by an increase in cardiac output. The cool-down helps restore these items back to a comfortable state.

  • Self-myofascial release
  • Static Stretching
