Posture plays an important role in our lives. It plays an even more important role in exercise. Proper posture means optimal movement. Optimal movement means the muscles are at their proper length, working correctly, producing force and protecting the body from injury. Improper posture leads to inefficiency in the neuromuscular system and injury. Posture assessments will identify deviations and if you have any of the common postural distortion patterns.
